SkySync and SkyView are companion software systems developed by Desktop Pilot to deliver seamless hardware-to-simulator integration across the entire Desktop Pilot product line.

SkySync serves as the central communication bridge that connects both Desktop Pilot standalone devices and the Desktop Pilot Cessna 172 Skyhawk Full Flight Simulator to supported flight simulation platforms, including X-Plane 11/12 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024. It synchronizes switches, knobs, buttons, and other interactive components with simulator functions in real time, ensuring accurate control feedback and immersive operation.

SkyView handles the visual layer of the experience. It fetches real-time data from the flight simulator and uses it to drive Desktop Pilot’s custom analog-style instrument graphics, rendering them on connected displays as functional flight instruments. In addition, SkyView manages the output and layout of G1000 avionics screens, properly configuring Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MFD) outputs across monitors.
