Unlike some of the small trim wheels that come with control yokes or multifunction panels, this is more realistically sized and has the look and feel of an actual light GA aircraft trim wheel. MIne worked out of the box with the Skysync software but trimmed in the reverse direction. Due to a software glitch I was initially unable to reverse the direction but I also got excellent customer support from Alex and soon had everything working perfectly (wish everyone offered this level of support). After several email exchanges Alex even left a message on my cell phone to indicate he was happy that everything worked so well for me and to thank me for the feedback I gave him on the software and the product. The Skysync software does keep the trim wheel perfectly synced with MSFS 2024 flight simulator including while on autopilot. So if you're on an AP controlled final approach glide slope you can disengage the AP and have a perfectly smooth transition to manual control. Great product and support. Highly recommended!

Great Product! It has really improved my home sim cockpit and made it feel more immersive, really improved the look for streaming. The Build quality is fantastic. Set up couldn’t be easier. Delivery came well packaged and quick. Wish I found Desktop Pilot earlier when I started my build. Just need to get a set of G1000s to complete the set up.

Although this quadrant is mostly made of plastic, it's well worth the price ($260 compared to the $600 metal quadrant). The build still feels solid, and the controls are responsive in the simulator. The friction nut also works; don't think it's much needed though.

The G1000 suite is absolutely exceptional. It looks and feels great. The software works fantastic and when I did have a problem with one of the screens the customer service was hands on and ready to go. We were able to resolve the issue over the phone and with facetime preventing me from using time waiting on a replacement. Alex is the best! I spent nearly 6 grand building my flight sim and every penny I spent with Desktop Pilot was money well spent.

The V2 Trim Wheel is easy to install with the SkySync and WAsim Plugin. The unit sinks up quickly and preform like it would in real life. I am very pleased with all the products from Desk Top Pilot and their service and support is out standing. I recommend this produce highly.

    WOW!!! Talk about customer service! ALEX was amazing, patient and very kind. I was having issues with my set up in both MSFS and X-plane 12, We were unable to resolve in the first call however within 30 minutes he called back and the issues were resolved. I can now fly and continue my learning process. As a student pilot being able to use my home simulator has saved me thousands. Now for the extra mile Alex was kind enough as a pilot himself to give me some pointers and share materials to make my transition to from flight attendant pilot smoother, faster and save me some $$$. If this is the quality of the people Desktop Pilot employs then they have a customer for life. Thanks again for the superior service.

    Purchased a throttle quadrant from Desktop Pilot, but ordered the wrong model. Delayed opening the box it came in until the last minute. I was building my flight sim controls package over time, reviewing different products and vendors. When I was all ready to start assembling everything (including the new PC), that’s when I discovered my error. I panicked due to the time I’d waited. I contacted Desktop Pilot to exchange for what I had intended to buy. I spoke with representative “Alex”. He was EXTREMELY helpful; very personable and called me back as promised. Alex worked with me and DT P management to ensure the swap would be appropriate after such time. They agreed to the exchange, gave me instructions on return requirements and assured that they would work quickly to get me the product I “tried” to buy. So here’s the thing.
