My son and I have a pretty extensive set up and own products from multiple component suppliers. This product is made very well and works flawlessly! Also very easy set up. We replaced our old trim wheel with this one and it’s night and day better. Definitely going to buy more products as we replace other components.
Outstanding representation of the Trim Wheel on a Cessna 172. Automatically recognized by Xplane. Note – in Xplane, I was given 3 axis to configure for the Trim wheel. You only need to set 1 of them (you pick one of the three depending on the sensitivity you want). Also, note that when in Xplane, for me, the main power switch needs to be on for the Trim wheel to be recognized. So, if you’re sitting on the runway with engine off and testing the trim wheel, it will look like its not being recognized. Turn the main power on to the plane within the Sim and it the trim wheel will work fine. Appears this is an Xplane anomaly, Not an issue with the trim wheel. Works perfect if power switch is on in Sim. Huge thank you to Alex at Desktop Pilot support for his Amazing support and customer service. He helped me with trim wheel setup and confirming Xplane requiring the power on for the wheel to be acknowledged. These 3 components will make a huge difference in your Sim for the Cessna (throttle, flaps and trim wheel). I highly recommend them.
